Sonora La Habra FFA Chapter
A New Chapter Begins
Fairs Our Students Attend
Citrus Fair
The Citrus Fair is an exciting local fair we show and sell our animals at. For those who sell at the OC Fair, the citrus fair is a practice fair but for others this is where we auction our animals. The Citrus Fair is an amazing fair because it's right in our community so there are many familiar faces that get to watch you and your animal in the show ring. The Citrus Fair is shared with other agricultural schools allowing a range of agriculture members to come out and compete in the show ring. At the Citrus Fair, we also showcase and sell our shop projects that were made at Sonora. The Citrus Fair is a great place to show and have fun with friends and family after.

The oc fair
The Orange County fair is our biggest fair that our market students go to with competitors from all over the Orange section. The OC has livestock owners compete in both showmanship and market placing like Citrus Fair. The OC Fair lasts over a month, but students who sell at this fair work a total of 2 weeks while their animal is at the Fairgrounds. The OC fair has other livestock exhibits to visit such as the piglet races and the centennial farm. Here at Sonora, we are always excited to spread our love and knowledge to the numerous visitors that pass through the livestock barn. This is also a great fair to bring the family with numerous attractions and activities to do and great food to eat.
The Chino Fair
The Chino Fair is one of the prefairs that our students with market animals go to to practice showmanship and learn how a fair set up works. Student who earn 1st or 2nd place in showmanship get to attend mastershowmenship which is an amazing experience for students. We always look forward to friendly competion among the other agriculture school and love learning how to improve our student's showmanship skills.

imagenology
Imagenology is a prefair for market students who sell at Citrus fair. This fair is held in Costa Mesa and is fun fair for our students to practice their showmanship at. We hope to continue showing our appreciation by partcipating at this fair and love the close community feeling this fair gives us despite its location.
